50th anniversay splash 350pxCelebrating 50 Golden Years of Hash in Australia
Twenty-nine years after Gispert and Co. first chucked some paper to the ground and celebrated with a tin mug of Tiger beer, two hash clubs in Australia called ‘On! On!’ for the first time.

Springing from the moist and productive loins of Kuala Lumpur H3 (the Mother Hash), the bastard progeny of Singapore H3, Sydney H3 (The POSH Hash) and Hobart H3 both formed within days of each other – all without the aid of e-mail, social media and pop-top cans.

In 2017, both clubs mark their 50th anniversary, making it the golden anniversary of hashing in Australia.  To celebrate, both clubs will be hosting Aussie hashing’s largest celebration, spanning two weeks and two cities.
